Design Council

The Design Council is one of the world's leading design institutions, aiming to demonstrate how design can help build a stronger economy and improve everyday life.

The Design Council's mission is close to our hearts and we are proud to have made a small contribution to making it happen.

Back in the '90s, Chris was a member of the Research Advisory Board, helping to shape their inter-disciplinary research agenda. And over the years, Bill has spoken at many Design Council events.

As Via, we have undertaken a whole series of assignments. We developed the Design Council's induction programme, addressing the challenge of how to rapidly introduce new recruits into design thinking. We participated in the Designing Demand business support programme, from the beginning. In particular we designed the Innovate process and tools, which have now been rolled out to technology start-ups across England.
